Temperature tiers

Every tier your materials need, under one accountable chain.

Most providers hand you off at the edge of their range. We hold the whole ladder, so a programme that spans refrigerated reagents and cryopreserved cells does not span two vendors.

+15 → +25 °C

Controlled room temperature

Ambient-stable materials held inside a defined, monitored range — not simply left in the room.

  • Lyophilised reagents
  • Plasticware and consumables
  • Kit components
  • Buffers and media

+2 → +8 °C

Refrigerated

The working temperature of most of the life-science world, and the tier where excursions cost the most.

  • Antibodies and enzymes
  • Sera and cell culture media
  • IVD reagents
  • Biologics and vaccines

−20 °C

Frozen

Standard frozen storage for nucleic acids, controls and aliquoted material.

  • Nucleic acids and plasmids
  • Aliquoted serum
  • Assay controls
  • Temperature-sensitive enzymes

−80 °C

Ultra-low

Deep frozen storage and dry-ice transport for material that cannot see a warm minute.

  • mRNA and viral vectors
  • PBMCs and tissue
  • Long-term biospecimens
  • Master and working banks

≤ −150 °C

Cryogenic

Liquid nitrogen vapour phase, in dry shippers that hold their charge across an international lane.

  • Cell and gene therapy material
  • Stem cells
  • Cryopreserved PBMC
  • Reproductive tissue

How it works

Onboarding, without the discovery theatre.

New providers are a risk. Here is exactly what happens, so you can price that risk before you commit anything.

Scope and qualify

We go through your materials, temperature requirements, volumes, documentation and destinations. You get a written scope and a price. If we are not the right fit for part of it, we say so.

Receive and store

Inbound is inspected against your paperwork, logged, and placed in the correct tier. Temperature is monitored continuously and every movement is recorded against your lot and expiry data.

Label, kit and pack

Labels are printed to your approved artwork on stock rated for the temperature they will live at. Kits are built to your component list and reconciled. Packouts use the shipper and coolant your lane actually needs.

Ship and document

Carrier, dangerous-goods paperwork, data logger and customs documentation go out together. You get the chain-of-custody record and the temperature file, not just a tracking number.

Who we serve

Built for the organisations the big networks deprioritise.

Global specialty couriers are excellent and expensive, and their minimums start where most research budgets end. We are built for the other shipments.

Research institutions & universities

Core facilities, individual labs and multi-site studies. Purchase orders, grant timelines and MTA documentation are normal here, not an exception we have to work around.

Laboratories & diagnostics

Reference and hospital laboratories, IVD manufacturers and clinical diagnostics companies moving reagents, controls and specimens on a schedule that does not move.

Clinics & treatment centres

Inbound biologics and consumables, outbound specimens, and the documentation trail that has to hold up when someone audits it a year later.

Biotech & emerging pharma

Pre-clinical through commercial-readiness. Small volumes and high stakes, which is exactly the profile the national networks price out of reach.

CROs & CDMOs

Study-driven volumes that spike and fall. Kit builds, site replenishment, specimen returns and the per-protocol variations that come with them.

Biorepositories & biobanks

Long-horizon storage where chain of custody, redundancy and retrieval time matter more than headline price.

Across borders

International is where cold chains break. It is also where the paperwork decides everything.

A customs hold is not a delay, it is an excursion. Secondary inspection can mean an officer opening your packaging and removing the temperature monitor — and a gap in the monitoring record is treated as an excursion whether or not the product ever left range.

  • IATA Packing Instruction 650 for UN3373 Biological Substance, Category B
  • Dry ice under UN1845 / PI 954, with per-carrier and per-lane quantity limits checked before booking
  • Liquid nitrogen dry vapour shippers for cryogenic lanes
  • Exempt human and animal specimen classification and marking
  • Commercial invoices, HS classification and declared values that clear rather than trigger holds
  • CDC and USDA APHIS import permit support, and Material Transfer Agreement documentation

Where we are

Morrisville, Pennsylvania — on the Delaware, opposite Trenton.

We sit in Lower Bucks County where I-295 meets US Route 1, roughly 27 miles from Philadelphia and directly across the river from New Jersey, which holds more than 5,600 life-science establishments and over 700 contract research organisations. Most of our clients’ science happens within a two-hour drive.

Straight answers

The questions every buyer asks a new provider.

What temperature ranges do you actually support?
Controlled room temperature (+15 to +25 °C), refrigerated (+2 to +8 °C), frozen (−20 °C), ultra-low (−80 °C) and cryogenic liquid nitrogen vapour phase (−150 °C and below). Storage and transport, both.
Do you hold certifications?
No third-party certifications yet, and we will not imply otherwise. We publish our operating procedures instead, and our certification roadmap, so you can judge us on what we actually do rather than on a wall of logos. See the Quality page.
Do you handle prescription drugs?
No. We handle research materials, biological specimens, diagnostics, reagents, consumables and research-use-only biologics. Human prescription drug distribution carries separate state licensure and federal reporting obligations that we are not currently set up for, and we would rather say so than take the work.
Is there a minimum?
No account minimum and no minimum pallet commitment. We quote per programme. A single international specimen shipment and a standing monthly kitting run are both normal for us.
How fast can you start?
Send the scope and we will come back with a written price. Straightforward storage and shipping accounts can be receiving inbound within days. Labeling and kitting programmes take longer because artwork approval and component sourcing set the pace, not us.

Tell us what you need to move, and at what temperature.

Send us the materials, the temperatures and the destinations. We will come back with a scope and a price — not a discovery call.
